A) General Terms of Use

Information about Us

This Website is controlled and operated by the Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge acting through its departments, Cambridge University Press & Assessment and Cambridge Assessment English (“Cambridge English”).

Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing is part of Cambridge Assessment English, of The Triangle Building, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge, CB2 8EA United Kingdom.

Your use of the Services provided through this Website is governed by these legal terms and conditions of Use and Purchase (the “Terms of Use”), and by entering and using this Website and any other websites notified to You as part of Your registration from time to time You confirm that You agree to these Terms of Use.

If You are a Candidate You can only purchase Tests if You are over 18. If You are not over 18 then You will need the consent of Your parent(s) or guardian(s) to use this Website. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this Website or our Services. By checking the “Tick here to accept these Terms of Use” box as indicated on the Website, You agree that these Terms of Use apply to Your purchase of Tests and Service(s) through this website. Please note that other terms of use may apply to specific Test(s), Services or third party services.

Cambridge English provides a Test purchasing and booking Service, enabling You to access Products and Services from Cambridge English and third parties. In some cases Cambridge English helps facilitate the Services that are carried out on Cambridge English website, Cambridge English is neither the Candidate nor the Institution or Centre. Cambridge English provides a setting for Candidates, Institutions and Centres to provide and accept third party services, but is not responsible for the terms and conditions agreed between the Users particularly, the contract formed in relation to the Test taking facilities (test room and Test materials) is between the Candidate and the Centre (‘Centre’). Candidates authorise Cambridge English to act as their limited representative solely to conclude on their behalf contracts directly between them and the Centres via the Website. Cambridge English is not obliged to mediate between Users / Candidates and Centres or to enforce or execute fulfilment of any contract.

Cambridge English provides the Website, Test(s) and Services to You when You visit or book tests or use software provided by Cambridge English in connection with the Website, Tests and Services to You.

In particular, You acknowledge that You have read and understood the terms and conditions in these Terms of Use relating to: Cambridge English’s disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability; protection and use of Your personal data; and the manner in which Cambridge English may make changes  to this Terms of Use.

 

You may print and keep a copy of these Terms of Use. The Terms of Use are a legal agreement between Us and can only be modified with our prior written consent.

You may contact Cambridge either via the Helpdesk or by post at the address above.

In these Terms of Use:

 A person includes an individual, institution or instituted body (whether or not having separate legal personality).

A reference to a company shall include any company, corporation or other body institution, wherever and however instituted or established.

Words in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.

A reference to one gender shall include a reference to the other genders.

A reference to a statute or statutory provision is a reference to it as it is in force for the time being, taking account of any amendment, extension, or re-enactment and includes any subordinate legislation for the time being in force made under it.

1. Access

Subject to Your compliance with these Terms of Use and making payment as required , Cambridge English grants registered Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-sub licensable, and non-transferable licence to access and make personal non-commercial use of the Content and the Website.

1.1 All Users

1.1.1 Each User must register by providing the information requested and following the instructions on the Website.

1.1.2 Each User must accept these Terms of Use, including where You have been provided with an Entry Code or a User ID by Your Institution.

1.1.3 You are responsible for ensuring that the details You provide us with are true, accurate and complete, and for informing us of any changes to the information You have provided.

1.1.4 You must take all reasonable steps to ensure that Your password is kept confidential and secure.

1.1.5 Cambridge English reserves the right to reject registration or to refuse the Service(s) to anyone for any reason in its sole and absolute discretion.

2.   International Trade Compliance        

2.1 Where a User registers, purchases or receives the Services from a country from outside the United Kingdom, European Union or the European Economic Area, in the case of conflict, ambiguity between any provision contained in these Terms of Use and the laws of that country then the jurisdiction of England and Wales will apply and these Terms of Use shall take precedence.

2.2 The Test or Services provided under these Terms of Use, and the transaction contemplated hereby are subject to any applicable customs and export control laws and regulations of the United Kingdom, and may also be subject to the customs and export laws and regulations of the country in which the Test or Services are received. You acknowledge that it is Your responsibility to comply with and abide by those laws and regulations.

3.  Prohibited uses

3.1. You may not misuse the Service, Website and the licences granted or Your use of the website may be terminated or suspended.

3.2 The Licence of use granted to Users does not include any resale or commercial use of the Services, Website or Content. In accessing any part of the Website, Users agree NOT to:

3.2.1. Engage in systematic copying or downloading of the Content, Test or Services or transmit any part of the Content or Test or by any means to any unauthorised user;

3.2.2. allow copies to be stored or accessed by an unauthorised user;

3.2.3. make the Website Content available in any other form or medium or create derivative works, in whole or in part, without the written permission of Cambridge English;

3.2.4. Alter, amend, modify or change the Content, Test or Services;

3.2.5. Copy, download, duplicate, reproduce or exploit the Website Content, Service, Test or Licensed product in whole or in part, for sale, resale or commercial use without our express agreement;

3.2.6. Upload, display or transmit any materials through the Website which are false, offensive, defamatory, threatening, obscene, and unlawful or which infringe the rights of any other person anywhere in the world;

3.2.7.  reverse engineer, decompile, copy, adapt, frame or use framing techniques) any software or other code or scripts forming part of the Website or attempt to transmit to or via the Website any information that contains a Virus, worm, Trojan horse or other harmful or disruptive component;

3.2.8. Use of data mining, robots, or similar extraction and data gathering tools;

3.2.9 Use any Meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilising Cambridge English’s names or trademarks without our express written agreement.

3.2.10 change, modify, delete, interfere with or misuse data contained on the Website and entered by or relating to any third party user of the Website; and

3.2.11 breach or fail to comply with any specific instructions or limitations on the Use of Website Content as notified by Us to You.

3.3. Except as expressly stated herein, these Terms of Use do not grant any Institution or User any rights to, or in, the prices, patents, copyrights, database right, trade secrets, trade names, trademarks (whether registered or unregistered), any derivative use of the Content, Service or Website or any other rights or licences in respect of the Content, Website, Test or Service.

3.4  If a User becomes aware of any misuse of the Website, or any security breach in connection with these Terms of Use that could compromise the security or integrity of the Website or otherwise adversely affect Cambridge English, or if a User learns or suspects that any Security Feature has been revealed to or obtained by any unauthorised person, the User shall, promptly notify Cambridge English and fully co-operate with Cambridge English to remedy the issue as soon as reasonably practicable.

4. Right of withdrawal of access of Website content/User content

4.1. Where Cambridge English considers, in its sole opinion, there to have been a deliberate and/or systematic breach of applicable laws, these Terms of Use or any other applicable terms and conditions by You, it reserves the right to immediately, temporarily or permanently withdraw Your right to use the Website.

5. Amendment of the website, policies or Terms of Use

Cambridge English reserves the right to make changes to the Website, Policies, and these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify Users of changes to this website, policies, and these Terms of Use by displaying them on this webpage and they will take effect from the time they are displayed on this webpage. You will be subject to the version of the policies and Terms of Use in force at the time that You use the website. If any of these Terms of Use are deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

6. Exclusions and limitations of liability

6.1. We will use reasonable commercial measures to ensure the availability of the Website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, Your access to the Services may also be occasionally suspended or restricted or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services.

6.2 The Website has been prepared for the purpose of e-commerce and providing information about our Services. Parties other than Cambridge English provide services on this website. We are not responsible for the Test taking process, Institution, Centre facilities and we do not warrant the offering of any of these businesses or organisations or the content of their websites.

6.3 Cambridge English does not assume and shall have no liability for the actions, facilities, omissions or other services that are or are due to be provided by a Centre or an Institution or other third party in connection with the services You request from them. You should carefully review their privacy statements and other conditions of use.

6.4. Cambridge English gives no warranty that the booking or taking of the Test or the Services or third party services in any particular jurisdiction outside the United Kingdom is permitted under any applicable non-United Kingdom laws or regulations. Accordingly, the Services accessed through the Website or any part of them are not offered in any jurisdiction or to any Candidate where purchasing or taking the Test or using the Services available or the provision of the Services is prohibited, whether by reason of nationality, residence, age or otherwise. If You are resident outside the United Kingdom You must satisfy Yourself that You are lawfully able to purchase the Test or use third party services. 

6.5 Subject to the paragraph above, Cambridge English shall not be liable, whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any losses, financial, economic or other loss, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage, costs or expenses whatever or however arising out of or in connection with the sale and supply of the Test, third party services or the purchase or attempted purchase of the Test or third party services anywhere in the world.

6.6 Subject to the two paragraphs above, the total liability of Cambridge English for any loss or damage, costs or expenses arising directly or directly from the use of third party services provided through the Website shall not exceed such sum as has been paid to Cambridge for the Test or Service concerned.

6.7 Cambridge English excludes all liability whatsoever, to the fullest extent permitted by law, in respect of any loss or damage resulting or arising from any non-availability or use of the Website, Website Content or of any other website linked to it, or from reliance on the Website Content or any material or Content accessed through it.

6.8 Nothing in these Terms of Use shall exclude Cambridge English’s liability to You for fraudulent misrepresentation by Us or Our employees or for death or personal injury resulting from Cambridge English’s negligence or that of our employees.

This clause 6 sets out the entire financial liability of Cambridge English (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents and sub-contractors) to the User, Centre, Institution or third party.

6.9. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, the User or Institution assumes sole responsibility for results obtained from the use of the Website by the User or Institution, and for conclusions drawn from such use. Cambridge English shall have no liability for any damage caused by errors or omissions in any information, instructions or scripts provided to Cambridge English by the User or the Institution in connection with the Website, or any actions taken by Cambridge English at the Users’ or Institution’s direction.

6.10 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND CAN GIVE NO WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES OR REPRESENTATIONS IN RESPECT OF, (a) THE CONTENT OR AVAILABILITY OF MATERIAL ON THE SITE (b) THE SERVICE BEING TIMELY, SECURE OR THAT IT WILL OPERATE WITHOUT ERROR; (c) THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS OR TESTS INCLUDED ON THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF LISTING, LAWFUL TO SELL, OR THAT THE CENTRES WILL PERFORM AS PROMISED. (d) ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE; AND (e) ANY OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, RIGHT, CLAIM OR REMEDY IN TORT, WHETHER OR NOT ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH IS EXCLUDED TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES.

6.11 SUBJECT TO THE ABOVE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DIRECT LOSS UNDER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL BE LIMITED TO £100 (ONE HUNDRED POUNDS STERLING) FOR ANY ONE INCIDENT OR SERIES OF INCIDENTS. WE SHALL, HOWEVER, IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE FOR ANY INDIRECT, ECONOMIC OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS WHATSOEVER; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF PROFITS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF GOODWILL OR REPUTATION; LOSS OF USE; ANY DELETION, CORRUPTION, DESTRUCTION, LOSS OR REMOVAL OF DATA OR ANY PROFESSIONAL CHARGES.

6.12 If the limitation on the Cambridge English’s liability set out in the preceding paragraph is adjudged to be unreasonable in the circumstances, the limit of Cambridge English’s liability shall be increased to the amount that Cambridge English can recover from its insurer for the loss in question.

6.13 This does not affect Your legal right to cancel or request a refund within a reasonable period of time if the Service cannot be delivered within a reasonable period of time owing to a cause beyond our reasonable control in accordance with our cancellation and refunds policy.

7. Termination

7.1. These Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of Your access to the Website, unless Cambridge English determines (in its reasonable discretion) that You are in breach of these Terms of Use or using the Website in a manner that is detrimental to Cambridge English’s reputation, the Website or to other Users, in which case Cambridge English may without prejudice to any other rights or remedies that it may have, at its discretion, terminate or suspend the agreement or Your access and/or exercise all rights and remedies which may be available to it in law or equity.

7.2. Upon termination of this agreement for any reason:

7.2.1. All rights granted to You under these Terms of Use shall revert to Cambridge English;

7.2.2. All rights granted by You to Cambridge English under these Terms of Use shall remain licensed to Cambridge English as set out in clause 3; and

7.2.3. You agree to continue to adhere to the provisions of these Terms of Use relating to any intellectual property of Cambridge English or any third party rights holder.

7.2.4 You will no longer have access to Your data (including personal data and Your results)

8. Registration

8.1. Once You register for the E-commerce website, Your registration will continue:

8.1.1. Until You notify us otherwise by contacting the helpdesk.

8.1.2. If You have not opted to receive marketing regarding other products or services that may be of interest to You, 12 months from the date You take Your Test You will receive an e-mail informing You that Your registration will lapse. To continue Your registration must follow the instructions.

8.2 Your use of the website and access to Services on the Website will be determined by Your registration and the Tests You have applied for or purchased.

9. Data protection, privacy and confidentiality

Details of our Data Protection, privacy and confidentiality policies are set out in our Data Protection and Privacy Statement, which also govern Your use of the Website and Our Services.

10. Copyright and intellectual property

10.1 THE WEBSITE, TEST AND CONTENT (INCLUDING DESIGN, TEXT, IMAGES, SCRIPTS AND SOUNDS ALL TEST MATERIAL AND ALL TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE RELATING TO IT) ARE THE PROPERTY OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS & ASSESSMENT (UNLESS WE NOTIFY YOU OTHERWISE) AND PROTECTED BY INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT AND DATABASE RIGHTS LAWS AND MUST NOT BE USED, DISPLAYED, MODIFIED, ADAPTED, DISTRIBUTED, TRANSMITTED, TRANSFERRED, PUBLISHED OR OTHERWISE REPRODUCED IN ANY FORM BY ANY MEANS OTHER THAN STRICTLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR BY THE EXPRESS WRITTEN AUTHORITY OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS & ASSESSMENT.

10.2 All other rights are reserved.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of the supply and purchase of the Test(s) or Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Each party irrevocably agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions.

12. Force Majeure

12.1.  Cambridge English shall have no liability to an Institution, User or third party under these Terms of Use if it is prevented from or delayed in performing its obligations under these Terms of Use, or from carrying on its business, by acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport or telecommunications network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of Cambridge English or its sub-contractors.

13. Other important terms

13.1. These Terms of Use together with Cambridge English’s Data Protection and Privacy Statement, any Booking form, any payment method instructions or any order acknowledgement, constitute the entire agreement between Cambridge English and You with respect to the purchase and supply of the Test or Services.

13.2 Cambridge English will not be deemed to be in breach of these Terms of Use or held liable to the User for any delay in performance or failure to perform any of its obligations to the User to the extent that such delay or non-performance is due to any cause beyond Cambridge English’s reasonable control.

13.3.   Cambridge English may terminate or suspend Your access to, or use of, any ordering or other features of this website, without notice, for any conduct that Cambridge English believes is disruptive to this website or is in violation of any applicable law or these Terms of Use, including without limitation any infringement of Cambridge English’s Intellectual Property or other rights.

13.4 If any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision would be valid, enforceable or legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with whatever modification is necessary to give effect to the commercial intention of the parties.

13.5 If You breach these Terms of Use and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where You breach these Terms of Use.

 14. Notices

Any notice required to be given under these terms and conditions shall be in writing and shall be delivered by hand or sent by pre-paid first-class post or recorded delivery post to the address set out in these Terms of Use. 

15. Language Version

In the event that these Terms of Use are translated into any language other than English, the terms of the English Language version shall prevail.

Glossary

Definitions and Interpretation

Under these terms and conditions unless the context otherwise requires, the following words have the following meanings:

‘Entry Code’ means the Entry Code provided to Users for the access to a paid for or unpaid test. An Entry Code must be entered to access specified Test and test bookings.

‘Test’ or ‘Test Material’ shall mean a Test and any associated documentation, software or other material.

‘Booking’ shall mean a confirmed and paid for Test(s).

‘Business Day’ means any day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the United Kingdom.
‘Cambridge’ / 'we' / 'us' / 'our' means the Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge acting collectively through its departments: Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Cambridge Assessment English, non-teaching departments of the University of Cambridge and Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing. 

‘Candidate’ shall mean someone who has a confirmed and paid booking through this e-commerce site with a Centre to take a Test (following receipt of a Booking confirmation e-mail).

‘Centre’ shall mean an Institution which can provide test taking facilities as provided for under the website.

‘Confidential Information’ means information that is proprietary or confidential and is either clearly labelled as such or identified as Confidential Information.

Content’ means Website content and User content whether provided by Cambridge or a third-party.

‘Institution’ means any accredited educational institution or any corporation or business entity purchasing tests for its organisation.

'Intellectual property rights' means all Intellectual property rights of Cambridge English or the University of Cambridge including any patent, rights to inventions, utility models, copyright and related rights, database rights, registered design, trademarks, trade names, logos, service marks, business and domain names, rights in trade dress or get-up, rights in goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in designs, rights in computer software,  moral rights, rights in confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and any other Intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights, and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection in any part of the world.

‘License’ means the limited permission granted to specified Users to use this Website under these Terms of Use.

‘Payment’ shall mean the monies paid by User(s) for the Services received from Cambridge English through this Website.

‘Policies’ shall mean the Data Protection, privacy and confidentiality policies notified to you.

‘Security Feature’ means any Security Feature implemented by Cambridge English including any key, PIN, or password.

‘Service’ or ‘Services’ shall mean the service(s) to be delivered by Cambridge English through this Website.

‘Test’ shall mean an application to sit one of the Tests owned and or managed by Cambridge English through the Website.

‘Third Party’ or ‘Third Party Services’ shall mean the services to be delivered by Centres, Institutions or other entities and not Cambridge English.

'User(s)'/ ‘You’/‘Your’ shall mean either an individual User, or an individual who is authorised to access the Content through a secure network at/via his/her affiliation with a purchasing Institution as a current student or employee, and everyone who accesses and/or uses the Website, including, individuals who have been provided with an Entry Code by an Institution.  References in these Terms of Use to ‘You’, ‘Your’ or ‘Users’ are interchangeable.

‘Validity Period’ means the period for which Entry Codes are valid and varies depending on the Test but will expire at the end of the applicable advertised registration period..

‘Verification Email’ means the email automatically sent to all Users upon completion of the online registration form to become a registered User of the Website. The link within the Verification Email must be clicked to verify the account and complete registration. (This link will be valid for 48 hours.)

‘Virus(es)’ means anything or a device (including any software, code, file or programme) which may: prevent, impair or otherwise adversely affect the operation of any computer software, hardware or network, any telecommunications service, equipment or network or any other service or device; prevent, impair or otherwise adversely affect access to or the operation of any programme or data, including the reliability of any programme or data (whether by re-arranging, altering or erasing the programme or data in whole or part or otherwise); or adversely affect the User experience, including worms, Trojan horses, viruses and other similar things or devices.

'Website' means this website and any other website notified to you as part of your registration, access or Use of the Services from time to time.

'Website content' means all material contained in the Website including without limitation all articles, Content, discussion content, Tests, , answer keys, text, images, scripts, tests and sounds added to the Website by Cambridge.


 

 

B) Booking Terms

1. Purchasing a product /Booking a test

1.1. All Users

1.1 You can only book one Test at a time through the ‘Shop’ page.

1.2 If You have any special requirements You must communicate this at the time of Your booking and candidates are responsible for ensuring that the Centre can facilitate this.

1.3 Our booking process allows You to check and amend any errors before submitting Your booking to us. Please take the time to read Your order at each page of the order process.

2. Entry Codes

2.1 Users are required to register as above if they are using an Entry Code. The Entry Code will be linked to the Test and by entering the Code You will be able to view the dates and times of where and when You may take the Test.

 

2.2 Your Institution may be able to access Your account including details of Your personal data as set out in the Data Protection and Privacy Statement.

2.3 When a prepaid Entry Code is used it will represent the full value of the Licensed Product in force on the date of purchase of the Entry Code.

3. If You are making a booking for an exam assessment, then the following additional conditions apply:

3.1 Candidates are expected to comply with the Notice to Candidates, which sets out the rules and regulations on how candidates must behave during the examination.


C) Payment Terms

1. General

1.1 All purchase prices are displayed and any legally applicable sales tax will be shown separately.

1.2 When ordering Tests from outside of the EU You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied after You place the Booking. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by You; we have no control over these charges.

1.3 The currency in which a Test is purchased will either be in US Dollars, Euros or Great British Pounds Sterling and this will be determined by the location from which You make the purchase.

1.4 We list availability information for the Tests on the website. As we process Your Booking, we will inform You by e-mail as soon as possible if we cannot confirm availability and You will not be charged for the Test.

1.5 Payment for the total cost of the Test together with any applicable delivery charges must be made by credit or debit card at the time of Booking.

1.6 The credit or debit card used to purchase Test(s) must belong to You or be used with the consent of the owner and there must be sufficient funds or credit available to cover the cost of any Test(s).

1.7 After You complete Your purchase You will receive:

1.7.1 Payment confirmation receipt by e-mail from Barclaycard confirming that payment has been received.

1.7.2 Booking confirmation receipt by e-mail from Cambridge English. (If You are a Candidate, this is also confirmation that details of Your booking will be forwarded to the Centre.)

Your booking is not confirmed until You receive both e-mails.

1.8 Cambridge English reserves the right to obtain validation of any credit or debit card details or verification of the authenticity and owners individual, partnership, company or other legal entity before accepting any Booking or supplying any Tests.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 Cambridge English will inform You prior to acceptance of Your booking if the correct price of a Test is higher than that stated in Your booking confirmation e-mail and in such a case You may cancel the booking if You wish.

2.2 Unless otherwise provided in these Terms of Use requests for cancellations and refunds shall be subject to our Refunds policy and in accordance with the deadlines set for cancelling or withdrawing for a Test which are published on the Website.

2.3 Once You have notified Cambridge English that You wish to cancel, any current passwords or logins will be deactivated immediately.

2.4 All decisions regarding cancellation and or refunds shall be determined at Cambridge English’s sole discretion.

2.5 Candidates in the EU are entitled to a full refund if this is requested within Seven Business Days from the date of the booking confirmation e-mail.

2.6 If You are within the cancellation period then You need to contact helpdesk You will need to provide Your booking reference number and contact details.  When we receive Your cancellation request we will check that You qualify for a refund and You are within the cancellation period before issuing the refund. 

2.7 You may cancel up to 14 calendar days before the Test is scheduled to take place and this will be subject to an administration charge. Please note that cancellation may affect your application with the Institution you have applied to. You are responsible for contacting the University regarding this.

2.8 In the event a refund is due, Cambridge English will refund the sum that You paid for the original supply and delivery of the Test (less any administration Payment made depending on when notify us of cancellation) as soon as possible, but in any event within 28 days of You notifying Cambridge English that You are cancelling Your order. Please note that it could take up to 10 days for the refund to reach Your account.  Some banks/credit card providers may take longer so please check with them if You are concerned.
